How To Create A New Account?
You can register now by completing our registration form located here or by clicking on the Log In link at the top of every page. Registration can also be done during the order process. When you fill out your billing and shipping information, you will see fields to enter your User ID and Password. Once your order has been completed, your registration is immediately activated.
If you've lost your password, click here and fill in the email address that you used when you created your account and a new password will be emailed to that account right away. Or you can click on the Log In link at the top of any page. This takes you to the Log In page. On the right side in the RETURNING CUSTOMER box is a link that reads Forgot your password? Click here.
Why Can't I Log In With My Old Password?
We redesigned our website in the summer of 2008 to offer more services and security. The is a completely new system so we were not able to keep existing accounts active. We still have your customer information in our shoppe, but you must create a new account to use our website. It only takes a few minutes and can be done by clicking here or on the Log In link at the top of every page.
Buying Online Without An Account
Yes, we have added this feature for your convenience. When you go to check out, you will be brought to the Log In page. At the bottom, choose the Go straight to checkout without creating an account! option and you can check out without creating a new account. We will need information for payment and shipping, however you won't have to create a password or an online account. Please note: There are benefits to creating an account. When you create an account, you can review previous orders, sign up for special offer information and catalogs. Buying without creating an account will not give you these benefits.

Ordering On The Toy Shoppe Website
Simply browse to any item on our site in which you are interested. When viewing the item, you will see a box titled Order Now! on the right side of the page. Choose either the Pay In Full or AMC Payments option by checking on the button. Then click on the ADD TO CART button. This will take you to your Shopping Cart where you may either continue shopping or proceed to checkout (if you choose to continue shopping, you can always get back to your shopping cart by clicking the SHOPPING CART link at the top right of every page). When you are to ready check out, go to your shopping cart and click on the CHECKOUT button to complete the process. You will be asked for payment and shipping information.
The Toy Shoppe handles collectibles by world renowned artists and manufacturers. Due to the intricate hand-made handmade nature of many of these pieces, some items shown on our website may not be available for immediate delivery. Manufactured pieces also have handmade components that can delay their arrival. Please keep in mind that many of the items we carry are very limited editions. They may not remain in stock very long and should be reserved by you as soon as possible. If you need to verify that an item is in stock or you require delivery by a specific date, please indicate this in the COMMENTS BOX as you check out. What Are Wait List Only Items?
Items marked Wait List Only are sold out. This means that The Toy Shoppe has none in stock and no prospect of obtaining more but will keep a Wait List in case one becomes available. The only time items become available to Wait List customers is in the event of cancellation of orders by other customers. On extremely rare or popular items, it is unlikely that wait list orders will be filled.
I'm Having Trouble Placing My Order Online. What Should I Do?
Sometimes, due to different browsers and other issues on the world wide web, customers do experience difficulty ordering online. Please call us toll free at 1 800 447-7995 for help or to place your order with one of our staff. You are always welcome to provide a list of items you wish to order along with your contact information (email or phone number) through our form at the CONTACT US PAGE. We will contact you by phone for any other information required to complete your order. Be certain to make a note of any error messages you have received while attempting to order.
Why Does An Item Looks Different On My Computer
Due to their handmade nature, some products may differ from that actual product shown in the photo. Variations in photography, lighting and computer monitors will also affect an item's appearance (such as color).
We email many of our notifications including order confirmations and tracking information for our shipments . With today's sensitive spam filters, our messages may be blocked accidentally. If you can't find one of our emails, check you Spam or Junk mail folder to see if it has been filtered.
We make every effort to ensure accuracy on our web site however sometimes errors do occur. If there is an error, we will contact you before your order is processed to explain the error and determine if you wish to complete the order.
AMC Monthly Payment Plans Are Convenient and Interest Free
We will, with your authorization, automatically charge a pre-determined amount to your VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express charge card each month on the same date. If you prefer, you may send a series of postdated checks instead of using a charge card. For example: AMC $50.00 for 4 months would require four $50.00 checks each dated one month apart. AMC monthly payment plans require that a payment be made each month and your order will ship when paid in full. Applicable shipping costs can be included with your payments. Please Note: AMC plans longer than 6 months are charged a one-time processing fee of $12.00.
Making Extra AMC Payments
We are always willing to work with our customers on payment arrangements. Additional payments on your AMC or Layaway to pay the balance more quickly can be made by contacting us. Call us toll free 1 800 447-7995 and we will be glad to help.
Custom AMC Payment Plans For Online Orders
If you would prefer a different AMC payment than the one offered on our website, please write it in the COMMENT BOX as you checkout. We will be happy to adjust your AMC plan to finish paying more quickly and receive your order sooner. Or you can always call us toll free at 1 800 447-7995 to set up a custom payment arrangement to suit your needs.
Our layaway option allows you the freedom to make monthly payments in an amount that best fits your needs. There is a one-time processing fee of $12.00 on all Layaway orders. To keep your order active, a payment is required each month and the balance must be paid in full by the due date. Items are shipped when the balance is paid in full. Using PayPal At The Toy Shoppe
Yes, we gladly accept PayPal. However, since many of our items have limited availability, we cannot process a PayPal payment through our web site. Please use our CONTACT PAGE or call us toll free 1 800 447-7995 to reserve the item and we will give you instructions for making your payment through PayPal.
Virginia Sales Tax
If your order is shipping within the state of Virginia, state sales tax will be added in the amount of 5% of the total purchase price (less shipping).
The Toy Shoppe Policies:
The Toy Shoppe's customer satisfaction guarantee: If you are not happy with your selection, please call us within 5 days of receipt of your order for a return authorization number. You will be responsible for the return shipping and costs. Please fully insure your return for your protection. Items must be returned in the condition in which received with all original packing materials. Refund or exchange credit will be issued LESS actual shipping cost. Returns on AMC or Layaway items will receive a store credit. *Note: No returns on special ordered items. Please call The Toy Shoppe with any questions you may have regarding a return and we will be happy to help you!
With any cancellation there is a standard 10% to 40% fee based on the price of the item. Payments that have been made on any payment plans will be held as a store credit, less any fees that may apply. This store credit can be used on any future purchase.
