After three decades, the timeless design of the all-wood Pongratz doll is virtually unchanged since its inception! They are delicately handcarved and handpainted in a simplistic fashion - very similar to dolls by Sasha Morgenthaler and Kathe Kruse. These all-wood dolls are fully jointed using a unique spring mechanism specially designed by Elisabeth and her husband, Wolf Pongratz.
