The history of the Teddy Hermann Company began 90 years ago in 1912 when Bernhard Hermann began making teddies in Sonneberg, Germany, at that time the world's center of toy manufacturing. Passed down from generation to generations, the company divieded into two separate entites after World War II. Today, Teddy-Hermann remains a fourth generation, family business and is managed solely by the granddaughters of the founder. Look for the red Hermann Teddy Original tag!
