The Steiff Teddy bear Nutcracker is created from the combined efforts of both Steiff and the wood artists of the classic nutcrackers from the Erz Mountains. This 11.5 inch charming fellow is made of white mohair and makes a very stately impression in his elegant uniform. He is wears a wool felt jacket adorned with shiny gold buttons, cufflinks and epaulettes. His black leather belt and hat with gold decoration complete his Nutcracker look. Specially made for Steiff, he features a screw-action mechanism to crack nuts. When the nut is placed in the nutcracker, simply turn the head to the right and the nut is cracked.
