Wee Forest Folk is a small family business which delights in an entirely handcrafted line of miniatures, most of which are mice, in Carlisle, Massachusetts. Each miniature sculpture is a casting of an original piece sculpted from clay. Meticulous hand-painting brings each sculpture to life and enhances each little personality. This Patriotic Americana mouse was first sculpted by Annette in the 1970's and 1990's for a local historic landmark. Today this edition is painted in this special limited edition to represent the early days when our country was newly independent! Ezra's Arrival! is inspired by Ezra Ripley (1751-1841) who was a minister at The First Parish Church in Concord, MA for 63 years, a very long time! Ezra's Arrival! depicts a wee mouse returning home with his suitcase in one hand and an umbrella in the other. Sculpture measures 2.5 inches tall and for an extra-special touch, he has a teensy leather tail. A perfect edition to add to your mouse collection. Please Note: This item will be retired after July 5, 2013. Place your order now to avoid disappointment!
